VistaASP utilizes Citrix terminal services. Data travels through a secure (SSH) tunnel from and to each site and is encrypted using triple DES encryption. VistaASP utilizes state-of-the-art firewall and authentification technology to provide added layers of security and data protection. In addition, each client facility's database is kept separate from other ASP client databases. That is, each client’s database is logically isolated from the others by environment variables, operating system permission settings, and access control lists that are maintained by VistaASP.

 

Data Encryption – Data is protected in transit through the public Internet using x.509 digital certificate encryption to protect privacy.

 

Firewall Technology – At the ASP, each layer is separated by a hardware firewall in order to provide more robust protection and prevent intrusion

 

Authentification Technology – VistaASP utilizes the latest authentification technology requiring logins with unique access and verify codes.
